.) We need your help to bring cultural literacy into more school systems. Each time a teacher uses our educational resources, a K-12 school class learns about Sikhism and cultural diversity, and fewer Sikh students have to worry about being bullied at school for being who they are. So take us to school. Recommend our resources to the teachers and administrators in your district.
.) Your support helps KF ensure that the American schools incorporate cultural literacy education about all people and cultures. Any amount is welcome – please donate now!
.) Our volunteers are involved in every aspect of Kaur Foundation’s work. This includes writing letters to teachers and administrative officials, introducing our resources in your or other school districts, participating in focus groups, using social media to publicize KF’s work, or assisting with planning and executing events. We welcome your talents. We value your help.
.) Through partnerships with teachers, school districts, and educational institutions, Kaur Foundation improves communities through performance metrics, regular feedback, and customized teacher trainings. If you are a teacher, a school administrator, or represent an educational organization, please contact us to discover ways you can work with KF to further cultural awareness in your area.
5. ) We welcome all to our events. We hope that you will not only take away a better sense of who Sikh Americans are, but also enjoy meeting others who support cultural diversity in classroom education. Invite a friend or neighbor to join you at the next cultural literacy event you attend.
